Query Explanation

The rule computes the ratio of current JetStream memory usage (gnatsd_varz_jetstream_stats_memory) to the configured maximum (gnatsd_varz_jetstream_config_max_memory) and triggers when the ratio exceeds 0.8, i.e., memory usage is over 80% of the limit. This alerts that the NATS JetStream server is nearing its memory capacity.
