The rule evaluates the metric default_jenkins_builds_last_build_result_ordinal and triggers when its value is exactly 2, which denotes that the latest Jenkins build for that job failed. When any time series has this value the “Jenkins last build failed” alert fires, showing the job, instance, env and region labels.
