Query Explanation

The rule calculates the average of the probe_http_duration_seconds metric over the past minute; if that average exceeds 1 second, the alert fires, indicating that HTTP probes are consistently slower than 1 s. It triggers when the recent 1‑minute average response time of the blackbox HTTP probe is greater than 1 s.
